Hey, Fr. Dad….listen to my thoughts….our Creator made sure a portion of the True Cross of Christ, soaked in His very own blood, came to our little parish…you gotta’ make sure everyone knows!!!! How about we have a special Mass…you know…a ‘healing’ Mass for everyone!…..Ok, now I think I will play with my toys…..

Father Dad, I enjoyed our discussion so far about the Gospel of John. It really helps me to look at each line one-at-a-time. It’s amazing how so much information/teaching is ‘packed’ into each word, each line.  John may become one of my very favorite Gospels!

Boy, the first line is really something; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  Bam!  Right there we have a declaration of the divinity of Jesus, as the “Word” (or “Logos” that you like to use Fr. Dad 😊). And then, Shazam, I realized that we have the doctrine of the Trinity, as it states that the Word (Jesus) was with God and was God.  Wow, the Bible is the most exciting book ever….and we only talked about 17 little words!  I can’t wait for our next talk on John….now… I gotta find my squeak-toy, Lamb Chop!

Father Dad, I think we all should always….always…always think of God and His glory in everything that we do, and ‘bark’.  I think that this is the bestest goal that we should set for ourselves….to offer to God a sacrifice of perfect worship in this life, as we hope to do through all eternity!  Ohh…I think I hear Mom…see ya later!

Father Dad, listening to you practice your homily while I chew on Lambchop, I think I understand better what God wishes us to do.  We must go about our daily ‘stuff’ quietly, calmly, and lovingly, asking God to help us with our daily works; and by keeping our hearts and minds fixed on God, we can knock the devil right out of his saddle and beat down his weapons to the ground. Uh Oh….here comes my ‘broder’..Gucci…see ya’ later Fr. Dad!

Father Dad, I really, really like the way you talk about being close to God!  We can all ‘jump for joy’ (I do that all the time for treats) once in a while for God, but it just fades away….almost like we are sleep-walking…yes? …but…when we truly are in union with God we are really, really active…you know, like when you come home for the day and I bounce all over the place and run around in circles…quicker than the Rolls Royce Wraith…and brighter than the sun.  Like you say…it is very, very spiritual and yet…very, very simple…giving us love that is very reverent, quiet and surrounding all of my little body.  God is just amazing!  …  ooops…my sister Chianti is barking…gotta go see what’s up!  See ‘ya….
